“To spread love, joy, and positivity I believe you have to lead by example. To me, that is by being unapologetically myself—a strong, powerful, Black woman.”
Meisha’s ability to lead her team with strength and grace stems directly from her belief that Black History Month is not only a time to celebrate our heroes and their legacy, but also a powerful reminder that the Black community are people of integrity and determination.
She feels fortunate to have worked alongside her team for three years—through some of her best and worst days—and credits their familial strength as instrumental in her growth as a person and leader in her community.
She believes in the power of vulnerability, and encourages her team to be their bravest selves by showing up from a place of unapologetic openness.
